The Terminal provides disabled toilets and lifts for wheelchair users, though passengers with special needs are advised to advise their respective ferry company of any particular needs, prior to travel.

The Port of Gothenburg is located on Sweden's west coast. It lies within the city limits of Göteborg, Sweden's second largest city and its primary port. A new passenger/cruising terminal was opened in 2001, across the River Göta from the city centre, and close to road and rail connections. DFDS Seaways now operates its regular passenger/car traffic to the UK and Norway from this terminal, called Kajskjul 107. There is a cafe, departure lounge and shop selling snacks and reading materials in the terminal.
