The port city of Denia is located on the slopes of Montgo (753m), a hill crowned by a very ancient castle. The port serves as the division between the northern beaches, Les Marines, and the southern ones, Les Rotes. The castle is worth seeing, along with other monuments and museums showing the history of the city. Although Denia is a tourist city, it is peaceful and has lovely beaches.

When you arrive at the port of Ibiza by sea, you'll have a stunning and unique view of Dalt Vila, declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO in 1999. Around it are the cathedral, the Renaissance city walls, and a web of small streets. The port itself boasts a cheerful and modern atmosphere, especially during summer nights. One of the main appeals of the island is its 18kms of beaches.
