Troon is linked by rail, bus and motorway to the rest of the UK, while ferries provide crossings to Belfast several times a day.

By car you will find the Port of Troon situated just north of Ayr and Prestwick, on the West coast of Scotland. The Port of Troon is approached from the north along the A78 from Irvine and along the A77 from Ayr, or from Kilmarnock to the west.

Trains run from Glasgow Central to Troon, with journeys taking 40 minutes. Combination rail and sail fares are available from any station in Scotland, with day-returns available from Glasgow for £29.

Bus services are also available across the region, linking Troon with cities throughout the UK.
