Port of Scrabster

Ongoing development of the harbour has permitted the regular introduction of larger and more capable ships, ensuring reliable service for the Islands and a steady increase in traffic on the Scrabster - Stromness link to its current level of 100,000 passengers and 45,000 vehicles each year.

Facilities at the port itself are limited, however Northlink ferries provide excellent onboard facilities, with cafes, snackbars and onboard entertainment available.
