Traveling to Port
Transportation to and from the Port of Oslo
Oslo has an excellent road network and public transport system, while passenger ferries connect the city with Germany and Denmark.
Motorways connect the city with the rest of the country and to the transportation arteries of Europe. To travel from the city to the airport, you may drive out the dedicated four-lane access road, Hwy-174, which connects to Hwy-E6 at Jessheim. Signposts will direct you to the airport terminal.
Oslo's public transport system consists of buses, trams, ferries and a metro system called the T-bane.

The bus network is extensive, with routes 20-89 running through the city centre, while bus 60 operates directly from the port to the city centre.
There are eight tramlines in the city that are handy for getting around the centre of town and the nearby suburbs.
Oslo's metro system is called the T-bane, and consists of five lines. All trains on the five-line system operate along the same tracks in the underground section between Majorstuen and Tøyen, while most stations are located above ground outside the city centre.
Three train lines serve Oslo, and are operated by NSB. Trains on these lines have frequent services to destinations around the country and within the city limits.
Ferries serve destinations in Norway, Denmark and Germany, including Helsingborg, Frederickshavn, Copenhagen, Hirsthals and Kiel.
Parking at the port is available for both short and long-term stays, with specially designated areas available for those with disabilities.
