Useful Information
Port of Oslo

With only around half a million inhabitants, Norway's capital is a laid-back place with easy access to the countryside. The city is located on Oslofjord, and surrounded by the Oslomarka and Nordmarka forest, while the Bygdøy peninsula is only a 10-minute ferry ride away. Nautically the city is connected to destinations in Germany and Denmark.
Oslo Port Authority provides a large port facility on the Oslofjord, located near the city centre. Terminal facilities are quite sparse, but include a small departures lounge and a coffee shop. Within walking distance, however, there are both bars and restaurants available. Three ferry operators connect Oslo with Denmark and Germany: Color Line, Stena Line and DFDS Seaways.

All ferries provide facilities for passengers with disabilities, while you will find disabled toilets and good wheelchair access in the ferry terminal. However, passengers should inform their ferry company of any special needs prior to travelling.
