Port of Igoumenitsa

Igoumenitsa is situated to the east of Corfu, on Igoumenitsis Bay. The town is an important ferry terminal and a tourist centre, being one of the country's gateways to Western Europe, and a major hub for Adriatic sea traffic. There are direct sea crossings to Brindesi, Bari, Ancona, Venice and Trieste.

Within walking distance of the port, you can easily reach any bank, hotel, exchange or shop. The Greek Tourism Organization Office is only 400m away, and you will find public telephones and public conveniences at the port. Eight ferries operate out of the port to destinations in Greece and Italy.

All ferry companies and the ferry port provide facilities for those with disabilities, with special cabins available on board some vessels. However, passengers are recommended to inform their ferry company of any special needs prior to travelling.
