Hook of Holland Port

Book Hook of Holland tickets here!

Hook of Holland (Hoek van Holland) is an outer port of Rotterdam, with which it is connected by the New Waterway. It is a terminus for ships that cross the English Channel from Harwich in England.

The terminal building includes a cafe/bar and a convenience store, while information points are available on board the ferries, from where train tickets may be purchased. Further onboard facilities include a bureau de change and several restaurants and bars. Your luggage will be checked-in at the terminal, but if you wish to check in more than two items, you may be charged extra. Though foot check-in opens 90 minutes before departures, boarding only begins 30 minutes prior to leaving. Car-check-in also begins 90 minutes before sailing times, and ends 30 minutes before scheduled departure times.

There is good wheelchair access in the terminal building for those with mobility difficulties, with wheelchair-accessible washrooms also provided. Guide dogs are permitted to travel on the passenger decks with their owners, but passengers should contact Stena Line a few days prior to travelling so that staff onboard the ship may be alerted. People with disabilities can reach the passenger deck from the car deck via two spacious passenger lifts, and are advised to call + 44 (0) 8705 70 70 70 to advise Stena Line of any assistance that may be required.
