Transportation to and from the Port of Helsinki
Excellent roads and an efficient public transport system make it easy to travel to and from the port. Ferries depart to Sweden and Estonia, with sailings throughout the day.
Expressbus (tel: + 358 (0) 2 00 40 00) operates to destinations throughout Finland plus Stockholm (Sweden) and St Petersburg (Russia). Buses depart from the bus station near Mannerheimintie.
The main road to Helsinki from Turku is the E18. Vaasa is connected to Helsinki (another ferry point to northern Sweden) by the E12. Rovaniemi in the north is on the E75.

The main train station is located near the Rautatientori metro station and has domestic and international services.
Helsinki-Vantaa airport handles flights to destinations throughout Europe and Finland, but it is not used by many budget airlines.
Ferries travel to Tallinn in Estonia as well as Åland, Stockholm and Mariehamn, and are provided by numerous operators.
Parking is available at the port for both the short and long-term, with designated areas available for those with disabilities.
