Fjord Line services the Hantsholm-Egersund-Haugesund-Bergen route, aboard the M/S Fjord Norway. The ferry departs from Hanstholm and travels via Egersund and Haugesund to Bergen, all in Norway. The total journey, Bergen-Hantsholm takes 16 ½ hours, while it takes 9 hours and 15 minutes to travel to Egersund from Bergen.

Smyril Line's ferries sail along the following route: Hanstholm-Tórshavn-Lerwick-Bergen-Lerwick-Tórshavn-Seyðisfjørður-Tórshavn-Lerwick. This route is serviced once a week, departing Hanstholm on Saturday morning, arriving in Tórshavn 9 hours later. The ship docks in Tórshavn for 3 hours, before journeying another 13 hours to reach Lerwick. It then takes 13 hours to travel to Bergen, before the return journey, all the way to Seyðisfjørður.
