Port of Hanstholm

Denmark's international fishing harbour has ferry connections for passengers and cargo to Norway, the Faroe Islands, Iceland and the Shetland Islands. The Harbour at Hanstholm is the most recent in Denmark, and is a modern fishing and commercial harbour.

Port facilities include passenger waiting lounges, a number of vending machines and a cafe serving hot and cold beverages. However the nearby town has a wide selection of shops, with bureaux de change also available.

Both ferry companies have excellent facilities for disabled travellers with dedicated cabins available as well as disabled toilets. The port terminal is also designed for easy wheelchair access, with special assistance available for passengers with mobility difficulties.
