Condor Ferries offers a service from the Channel Islands to various destinations in the United Kingdom and France. Ferries departing from the port on the Island of Guernsey travel to Poole, Weymouth, Portsmouth and St. Malo, while an inter-island ferry is also available between Guernsey and Jersey. The crossing between Weymouth and Poole takes two hours onboard the fast-ferry, while sailings from Portsmouth to Guernsey takes 6 ½ hours.

Emeraude Lines offers sailings from Guernsey to St. Malo in France. Vessels depart three times daily, every day of the week and take just over 4 hours. Journey time onboard the high-speed ferry, the Solidor V, is 1 hour and 15 minutes.

As there is no airport located on the Isle of Sark, the only connection to and from Guernsey is by sea. In addition to freight services, the Isle of Sark Shipping Company runs a year-round passenger service during daylight hours.
