Transportation to and from Fishguard Port

Book Port of fishguard tickets here!

Rail and buses are available from Fishguard to the rest of the UK, while good motorways allow motorists to travel efficiently to their destination. The ferry port itself provides crossings to Rosslare in the southeast of Ireland, with sailings on a daily basis.

If you are arriving by car from the south, follow the A40 from Haverford West, which is connected by the A40 and A48 to the M4 near Swansea. Coming from the north, direct yourself along the A487 from Cardigan. Fishguard is positioned at the junction of the A40 and the A487. Follow the signs to the ferry port, which is located just a mile north west of Fishguard Town Centre.

The port of Fishguard is located about a mile from the centre of Fishguard town and is served by both bus and rail connections.

Once at the ferry port you will find both short and long-term parking facilities available (tel: +44 (0) 8705 70 70 70).
