Bus, rail and excellent motorways are available from Esbjerg to the rest of Denmark and continental Europe, while ferries travel to nearby Fanø and Harwich in England.

The motorway E20, serving Transport Center Esbjerg, is part of the well-developed Danish motorway system, which connects to the motorway systems of Northern Europe and Scandinavia. E20 is easily accessible from the major cities in Denmark and has a direct access road to the Port area.

The international Billund Airport is located 60 km from the port, and is accessible by efficient motorways.
