Book Port of Dublin tickets here!

As the port is situated close to the heart of Dublin, there are good rail, bus and road connections close at hand, while ferries connect the port with Holyhead and Liverpool.

Dublin Port is located near to the city centre and is well signposted. From the city centre, direct yourself along the Quays from O' Connell Bridge down to the Point Depot music venue, then turn left and follow the road all the way to the port.

The port is also served by bus, with bus 53 frequently running to the port. Bus Eireann runs services from Dublin's central bus station on Amien Street, to many areas across Ireland, while Dublin Bus connects locations in Dublin city and county. You will find the Bus Information Office situated in O' Connell St. Timetables can be purchased and further information on tourist tickets is available in shops throughout Dublin city and county. There is also a shuttle bus service for passengers travelling to the main bus centre.

There is no direct link to Dublin port by rail, however the city railway stations (Connolly and Heuston) provide regular Intercity train links from Dublin to most towns throughout Ireland. Visitors travelling to and from the south and west will use Heuston Station, from where it is a short trip into the centre by bus or taxi. Those arriving or departing for the southeast, the north and north-west will arrive and depart from Connolly Station, which is a short walk from O'Connell Street. The DART service is an urban commuter train running in a north-south arc to the east of the city.

Ferries link the port with Holyhead and Liverpool in the UK, with daily departures to both of these locations.

Those who would rather travel by taxi will find a taxi rank located directly outside the terminal building. Trips into the centre of Dublin range from €5 to €10 depending on traffic conditions.

Carparks are available at the port for both short and long-term parking, with designated areas also available for those with disabilities.
