Transportation to and from the Port of Copenhagen

Copenhagen is connected by train, bus and excellent motorways to the rest of Europe, with ferries providing links to Sweden, Poland and Norway.
By car the E47 and E55 provide good motorway links to Copenhagen.
There are also direct train connections from Copenhagen to the major cities in Europe including Stockholm, Oslo, Hamburg, Berlin, Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris, Basel. A new road and rail tunnel under the Øresund makes Malmo, and the rest iof Sweden, easily accessible (duration 30 minutes).

Eurolines is operating regular bus connections between major cities in Europe. This is a very cheap way of getting from one city center to another.
Most of the international flights to and from Denmark use Copenhagen Airport (Kastrup). About 40 airlines have regular services to Copenhagen and there are several daily connections to/from all other major European airports. Copenhagen Airport (Kastrup) is located 12 km southeast of the city center. Trains between Copenhagen Airport and Central Railway Station take 12 minutes.
Ferries connect Sweden, Poland and Norway with Copenhagen, with sailings available throughout the week.
Parking is available near the ferry terminal, with both long and short-term parking on offer.
