This route is operated by the vessel, the European Diplomat, with meals included in the ticket price. The sailing from Cherbourg to Dublin departs on Sunday at 14:30, with a crossing time of 18 hours. Sailings are onboard the super-ferry, the European Ambassador, with meals included in the ticket price. Foot passengers are not allowed on this route.

The sailing to Portsmouth is a conventional ferry service taking 5 hours and runs on Sundays between May and September.
P&O Ferries/P&O Ferries Portsmouth has daily sailings between Cherbourg and Portsmouth in the UK. There are four sailings a day, except on Friday, when there is a fifth sailing. This route takes just under 6 hours onboard the conventional ferries and just under 3 hours onboard the Fastcraft service during the summer.
