Hellenic Mediterranean Lines has a ferry service from Cephalonia to Brindisi with five or six sailings per week in August; however, departures depend on weather and demand. Out of season sailings are dramatically cut back, with four or five crossings available per month. The crossing takes 14 ½ hours.
