Port of Calais

Positioned on the most frequented shipping lanes in the world, Calais is the port par-excellence for cross Channel links between Britain and the European mainland. Every day car ferries, hovercraft and catamarans offer more than 60 services a day on the Dover-Calais route. P&O Ferries and Seafrance are equipped with a fleet of 'Jumbo' car ferries with transit times of 75 minutes. Catamaran services offered by Hoverspeed are capable of making the crossing in 45 minutes.

Ferry terminal facilities include shops, cafes, tourist information and a bureau de change. As the terminal is located near the town centre, a wide selection of shops and restaurants are conveniently located nearby.
