Useful Information
Port of Belfast

The port deals with almost 60 percent of Northern Ireland's seaborne trade and 25 percent of trade for the whole island of Ireland. It is Ireland's largest ferry port and handles over 2 million passengers, 340,000 freight vehicles and 450,000 passenger cars annually. Ship movements through the port are now approaching 20,000 per annum.
Facilities at the port aren't extensive, however light refreshments are available in the departure lounge of the Passenger Terminal. An Ulster Bank ATM is installed in the departure lounge of the Belfast Terminal and dispenses UK currency. The machine will accept most UK cash cards as well as Visa and Mastercard. However, the ATM is only accessible to departing car and foot passengers. There is no currency exchange facility located at the port, although guest services on board the Stena HSS provides this facility. Vending machines are available in the arrivals area, the departure lounge, and in the Motorist Terminal beside the car lanes, as well as providing snacks and other refreshments.
