Transportation to and from the Port of Bari

The port is well-connected to the rest of mainland Italy via excellent motorways and rail networks, while ferries provide crossings to Greece and Albania.

There is a direct link with the railway network and road and motorway network, which allows a rapid connection with all the major centres in Southern Italy. The A14 travels to destinations north of Bari, while the A16 connects the city with Naples.

By rail you may reach any major destination in Italy. The railway station is Stazione Centrale and is located just 2kms from the port.

The nearest airport is Bari Palese, from here you will need to take a taxi or shuttle bus to reach the port.

By sea, passengers can cross to Durres in Albania as well as Corfu, Igoumenitsa and Patras in Greece.

Parking is available at the port for both short and long-term stays, with specially designated areas available for those with disabilities.
