Ajaccio is connected to the rest of Corsica by good road and rail networks, while ferries connect the port with France. There is also a nearby airport, which operates flights to international destinations.

If you are arriving at the port from Bastia or southern Corsica, follow the Cours Napoleon until you arrive at Griffi square, then follow the signs to the ferry port (Gare Maritime).

There are two train companies (SNCF and CFC) operating out of the Ajaccio train station (Gare d' Ajaccio tel: +33 (0) 4 95 23 11 03), with connections to all parts of the island.

There is also an airport located near Ajaccio which deals with nearly half the island's arrivals and departures, offering flights to international destinations.

Ferries connect the port daily with Toulon and Nice in the south of France, from where there are good road and rail networks to the rest of France.

Parking is available at the ferry port for both short and long-term stays, with specially designated areas available for those with disabilities.
