Aberdeen is well-connected to the rest of the UK by motorway, as well as train and bus links, while ferries connect Aberdeen with the Shetland and the Orkney Islands.

By car follow the A90 to Aberdeen from either Forfar or Peterhead, or from the A96 from Inverness, then follow the signs to the Ferry Port, which is located on the north bank of the River Dee.

Aberdeen railbus is a through-ticket scheme that allows you to travel by train to Aberdeen station, then on by bus to the destinations shown below, using bus services operated by First Aberdeen Ltd.
