Stena Line - Poland fleet
Stena Line operates a total of 36 vessels in its fleet, which is made up of a combination of both passenger ferries and freight-only vessels. On its Sweden-Poland route it operates two superferries: the M/V Stena Baltica and the M/V Stena Traveller.
The M/V Stena Baltica was bulit in 1986 in the Netherlands, but was totally refurbished to current hi-tech standards in 1994. The vessel is 162 metres in length and has a top speed of 26 knots. The Stena Baltica is capable of transporting 1,800 passengers and 500 cars, and has enough berths to sleep 1,300 passengers.
The M/V Stena Traveller has a gross tonnage of close to 20,000 tonnes and was built in 1992 in England. With a top speed of 18 knots, it is able to transport 250 passengers and 1,800 lane metres of freight.
Both vessels boast the following onboard facilities: conference facilities, a number of restaurants and snackbars, a wide range of cabins and a spacious lounge, complete with bar service.
