Scandlines fleet
Scandlines currently boasts an impressive fleet of 18 vessels, ranging from super luxury cruise ferry ships to freight-only vessels. Following are descriptions of three of Scandlines most modern and luxurious cruise ferry ships.
The F/S Mecklenburg-Vorpommern was commissioned in 1996 and can accommodate 745 passengers, 70 trucks, 440 cars and 50 railway wagons. This vessel is currently deployed on the Rostock-Trelleborg route and boasts the following onboard facilities: shop, bureau de change, slot machines, sundeck, cinema, children's play room, sun deck and sauna. There are also cabins catering to all budgets.
The F/S Schleswig-Holstein was commissioned in 1997 and is 142 metres in length, with a top speed of 20 knots. The vessel can carry 1,040 passengers, 40 trucks, and 176 cars. Operating on the Rødby-Puttgarten route, this vessel has the following onboard facilities: travel shop, bureau de change, sun deck, children's playroom, diaper changing room, conference room and slot machines. This vessel also has a wide range of eateries available: a steak and seafood restaurant, a bistro, self-service cafeteria and café.

The F/S Deutschland is 142 metres in length, with a top speed of 20 knots. It has a capacity for 900 passengers, 176 cars and 40 trucks. It is the sister ships to the F/S Schleswig-Holstein and offers the same onboard facilities.
