P&O Ferry Routes

The routes operated by P&O consist of North Sea and Portsmouth based routes. These are discussed in more detail below:

North Sea
On the North Sea, P&O Ferries offers daily overnight services between Hull and Rotterdam Europort in Holland and Zeebrugge in Belgium.

The Pride of Rotterdam and Pride of Hull operate on the Hull-Rotterdam return route. Sailing once a day, overnight, the vessel departs Hull at 21:00 and arrives in Rotterdam the following morning at 08:00. The journey time is 11 hours. On the return journey, the P&O ferry vessel departs Rotterdam at 21:00. Passengers must check in 1 hour, 30 minutes prior to sailing in order to keep their cabin bookings.

The Norsea and Norsun vessels operate on the Hull-Zeebrugge return route. Sailings are once daily, departing Hull at 19:00 and arriving in Zeebrugge the following morning at 08:30. Journey time is 12 hours, 30 minutes. The return journey to Hull departs Zeebrugge at 19:00. Passengers must check in 1 hour, 30minutes prior to sailing in order to keep their cabin bookings.

Portsmouth
P&O service several roundtrip routes originating from Portsmouth to Bilbao in Spain and three ports in France: Caen, Cherbourg and Le Havre. Numerous P&O Ferry vessels depart from Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth Harbour, which boast designer outlet shopping, bars, restaurants, an 11-screen cinema and a bowling complex.

The Portsmouth-Bilbao route departs twice weekly on Tuesday and Saturday. The crossing time is 30-36 hours, onboard the Pride of Bilbao.

Book P&O ferry tickets

The Portsmouth-Caen connection departs twice a day, once in the morning and once in the afternoon. This route is serviced by the Express Fastcraft, Caen Express.

The Portsmouth-Cherbourg route is serviced four times daily, except on Friday, when there is a fifth sailing. This route is operated by the Pride of Cherbourg, Pride of Bilbao and the Express Fastcraft, with a journey time of just under 5 hours.

The Portsmouth-Le Havre sailings depart three times daily, and are serviced by the Pride of Portsmouth ferry and Pride of Le Havre. The journey time on this route is 6 hours.
