Hellas Flying Dolphins, established in November 1999 when 42 vessels were acquired from a range of 20 shipping companies, boasts the largest fleet of passenger vessels in the Mediterranean. The company's goal is to provide the best coastal transportation for its customers. The company employs over 3,000 crew and staff, all of whom are Greek.

To achieve its goal, the company is placing great emphasis on its fleet of vessels. Hellas Flying Dolphins has recently purchased four newly constructed, state-of-the-art vessels: High Speed 2, 3 and 4, and Flyingcat 4. They are now operating on the coastal lines of Cyclades and have reduced travel times by half.

The company is also embarking on modernising its existing 74 vessels, including conventional and new technology speed vessels. This overhaul will include interior upgrades as well as engine overhauls. With the overhaul and renovation, the company is aiming to provide safe and secure transportation for its customers, as well as make the crossings more comfortable and relaxing.
