ANEK Lines network

The primary routes of ANEK vessels connect many of the Greek Islands with mainland Greece, as well as Italy. The destinations are: Piraeus, Chania, Rethimno, Heraklion, Patras, Igounmenitsa, Corfu, Ancona and Trieste. In fact, ANEK Lines is currently the only Greek shipping company to service the Patras-Trieste route.
The following sailings connect the Greek mainland (Piraeus) with the principal cities on Crete: Piraeus-Chania (8 hours, 30 minutes), Piraeus-Rethymnon (9 hours, 30 minutes) and Piraeus-Heraklion (8 hours, 30 minutes).

There are also daily crossings between Patras (Greece) and Ancona (Italy) during the summer months, calling at Corfu en route. The trip from Patras to Igoumenitsa is 5 hours, 30 minutes and the trip from Patras to Ancona is 19 hours, 30 minutes. The number of crossings are reduced to six per week during low season.
Crossings from Patras to Trieste are also available six times a week: Patras-Corfu (7 hours), Patras-Igoumenitsa (10 hours) and Patras-Trieste (32 hours).
