Eurotunnel Services
Eurotunnel provides an efficient and comfortable journey from Folkstone in the UK to Coquelles in France. The shuttles departures can be as frequent as six per hour during peak time and at least every 30 minutes during off-peak hours. The platform-to-platform journey time is approximately 35 minutes during the day and 45 minutes during the night. Passengers are requested to arrive at Check-in at least 30 minutes prior to their reservation time.
The company operates two types of shuttle trains: one for cars and coaches and the other for trucks, with all shuttle carriages being smoke-free. Cars are directed by Eurotunnel staff onto the shuttle and passengers stay with their vehicles in brightly-lit, air-conditioned carriages. LPG vehicles are not allowed to travel in the shuttles.

Eurotunnel offers a new range of competitive fares to suit passenger requirements. There are five different ticket categories to choose from:
- The Day Trip Return tickets start at £19
- the Overnighter Return ticket start at £39
- Short Stay Return tickets start at £103
- Long Stay Return tickets start at £193
- Single Tickets start at £112.
Rates vary greatly depending on day of the week, time of day and whether tickets are booked in advance or not.
In 2000, Eurotunnel began the Pet Travel Scheme, allowing passengers to bring their pets (dogs and cats only) onboard the shuttles. Passengers are required to buy a 'pets' ticket, which costs £30 per animal. However, pets travelling into the UK have to adhere to strict guidelines to avoid being quarantined and passengers need to report to the Pets Checking Booth at the French Passenger Terminal prior to departure to the UK. There are no checks for pets on departure from the UK to France. Assistance dogs, accompanying disabled people, travel free of charge.
Eurotunnel offers a Restaurant Reservation Service, which helps passengers choose from various restaurants and brasseries throughout Northern France. Eurotunnel has selected over 30 restaurants, each within driving distance of the Coquelles Passenger Terminal and deemed to be good value. Once passengers have chosen a restaurant, Eurotunnel staff will make a reservation for them.
