Onboard the Eurotunnel - Services

Onboard the Eurotunnel shuttle, it is possible to remain either in the comfort of your own vehicle or spend the journey in the comfort of the fully air-conditioned Eurotunnel carriages.
Onboard entertainment is provided by the Eurotunnel radio station (on 95.6 or 99.8 FM). It provides news, music and information on events both in the UK and France. Visual display screens throughout the carriages keep passengers informed about their journey. Toilets are situated in every third carriage and all carriages are smoke-free.
Eurotunnel makes travelling for disabled passengers in wheelchairs or passengers with limited mobility very simple. From entering the terminal, to driving off the train in France, passengers are not required to leave their vehicle, unless they choose to do so. Access to both passenger terminal buildings, shops and the Food Village is easy, and there are also disabled parking spaces, specially-designed toilets and low-level telephone booths.
Book Eurotunnel tickets
Passengers need to arrive at least 45 minutes prior to their reserved departure time. Also, only five disabled cars are allowed in the first carriage of every shuttle and once this allocation is taken, disabled passengers will have to wait for the next shuttle.
Eurotunnel also provides a Club Class on its shuttle service for its Club Class ticket holders (Points Plus members will receive at 10 per cent discount on Club Class tickets). These passengers will enjoy priority check-in in a dedicated Club lane, priority boarding on to the next available shuttle, entry to the Eurotunnel Club lounge and a complementary light meal, tea, coffee and newspapers. The Club lounge opens from 06:00 to 22:00 daily, where passengers can freshen up, use the telephone or fax and pick up some shopping. A light meal, tea, coffee, chocolate and newspaper are also available on a complementary basis.
For freight travellers, there is a special Club Car available. This is an air-conditioned carriage, where drivers can relax and buy refreshments, hot and cold meals, snacks and drinks. |
